Research indicates that children who have difficulties spelling, reading, writing, and performing in mathematics and socially often suffer from an eye movement deficiency. In addition, children with inefficient eye movement skills are subject to visual perceptual problems.

For these reasons, eye movement skills are critical to a child’s ability to perform in the classroom.  The subcategories in this section will explain why.
